Mirjana is board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW-Clinical). She uses neuroscientific evidence and empirically supported treatments such as trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy (TF-CBT), internal family system (IFS), prolonged exposure (PE), Christian devotional meditation, mindfulness-based, and art therapy. Mirjana specialized in trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, dissociative identity disorder, depression, chronic illness, life transition, and self-esteem. She ensures a safe and compassionate environment believing that the experience of genuinely being recognized and heard can be transformative. She supports, facilitates, and encourages her clients while they devote themselves to healing their past and present pain.

Mirjana holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Community Care and Counseling - Traumatology at Liberty University. Her dissertation research concentrates on the effect of combat veterans with PTSD in adult education settings. Her experience includes Michigan rehabilitation services settings, domestic violence shelters, mental health residential treatment, and youth assistance programs.
